Jewels are a girl's best Friend

This lesson was written by me, Jille, in the Dutch version of PSP3 on March, the 13th, 2010. I followed my own ideas, any ressemblance with an existing lesson is merely a coincidence. This lesson can be made in others versions as well

Preparation
Install the filters (Andrew's filters can be imported in Filters Unlimited)
Open PSP
Install Andrew Filter 10 in <I C NET Software> Filters Unlimited 2
Open the tubes in the program and minimize or place them in a map of your choice
Material
Foreground color #f08ebb and background color #b7f3f0
Change material of the foreground in a Rainbow gradient with these settings

  1. File - New - New Image - transparant checked - 800/600 pixels
  2. Flood Fill Tool - fill the image with the gradient
  3. Distortion Effects - Polar coordinates
  4. Effects - Plugins- <I C NET Software> Filters Unlimited 2 -Andrew's Filters 10
  5. Effects - Distortion Effects - Warp
  6. Effects - Plugins-<I C NET Software> Filters Unlimited 2 -Andrew's Filters 10
    Repeat Twins
  7. Image - Flip
  8. Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

  9. Layers - New Raster Layer

  31. Open the tube jet-jewels-mei-2007
  32. Make a copy with Shift D (on your keyboard) -shut original and proceed with the copy
  33. Activate tube layer
  34. Image - Resize - 80% -Smart Size
  35. Edit - Copy and close without saving
  36. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  37. Move Tool - Move to the left
  38. Layer palette -opacity = 53

  39. Layers - New Raster Layer
  40. Selection Tool - Custom Selection
  41. Flood Fill Tool- Fill with foreground color
  42. Effects - Texture Effects-Blinds - color = background color
  43. Selections - Select None
  44. Layer palette - Blend mode Burn
  45. Open the tube yoka-misted-woman-11-03-10
  46. Edit - Copy and close
  47. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  48. Move Tool - Move to the right
  49. Material palette for the text: Background color = White and foreground color closed
  50. Activate text tool with these settings

    write Jewels -click Apply
  51. Layer palette - convert to raster layer
  52. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
  53. Move Tool -give it a nice place
  54. Activate text tool again but change the size

    and write are a girl's best friend - click Apply
  55. Layer palette - convert to raster layer
  56. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow - same settings
  57. Move Tool -give it a nice place
  58. Layers - Merge - Merge all Layers (Flatten)
  59. Material Palette - as in the beginning of this lesson
  60. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 5 pixels foreground color
  61. Magic Wand Tool - Tolelerance and Feather= 0 - select this border
  62. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel
  63. Selections - Select None
  64. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 50 pixels background color
  65. Magic Wand Tool - Tolelerance and Feather= 0 - select this border
  66. Flood Fill Tool - Floodfill with the gradient
  67. Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout
  68. Selections - Select None
  69. Image -Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1 pixel black
  70. Add Watermark
  71. Image - Resize to your choice
  72. File - Save as - give_a_name.jpg
