Preparation
Install filters
Extract Preset_UserDefinedFilter_Emboss_3.PspScript into the map Presets
Extract selection into your map selections
Extract the mask into your map selections Masks
Open the program
Open the tubes in your program and minimize


Material
I took white for the foreground and #7f85d9 for the background
Material foreground - Prepare a foreground - background gradient - linear - with these settings

If you use different colors or material , feel free to change the opacity and/or the blend mode from the layers

The lesson

  1. File - New - New Image and choose the background color (right mouse button)
  2. Effects - Texture effects - Weave
  3. Layers - New Raster layer
  4. Flood fill tool - Fill with the gradient
  5. Effects - Plugins - <I C NET Software> Filters unlimited 2 - Render (clouds fore-/background color)
  6. Layer palette - Opacity = 55
  7. Material palette - Foreground color = White
  8. Layers - New Raster layer
  9. Flood fill tool - Fill the layer with white
  10. Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk and choose
  11. Layers - Merge - Merge group
  12. Layer palette - Opacity 53
  13. Layers - New Raster layer - Call this layer BASIS
  14. Free hand selection tool

    Select the big diamond in the middle
  15. Selections - Modify - Select selection borders
  16. Flood fill tool - fill selection with white
  17. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner bevel
  18. Effects 3D Effects - Drop shadow
  19. Selections - Deselect all
  20. Layers - Duplicate
  21. Effects - Distortion effects- Curl
  22. Effects 3D Effects - Drop shadow
  23. Layer palette - Close layer Basis
    Result
  24. Layer palette - Activate Group Raster 2
  25. Open the tube Kloos-gedicht and choose tube layer "linksplaatsen"
  26. Edit - Copy
  27. On your working area - Edit - Paste as new layer
  28. With Fast Key K move this layer to the left
  29. Open the tube again and chose tube layer "Rechtsplaatsen"
  30. Repeat 26 - 27 and 28, but move to the right
  31. Layers - Merge - Merge down
  32. Layer palette - blend mode Soft light
    Layer palette - Make the closed layer BASIS actif
  33. Magic Wand tool - tolerance and feather = 0 click in the middle to select
    Layer BASIS remains closed but is actif
  34. Open the tube Anna
  35. Edit - Copy - Close
  36. On your working area - Edit - Paste as new layer
  37. Layer palette - blend mode = Soft light
  38. Selections - Invert
  39. Selections - Modify - contract with 2
  40. Push delete on your keyboard
    If you wish you can remove the layer BASIS
  41. Layer palette - make top layer actif and
    Layers - New Raster layer
  42. Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from disk
  43. Flood fill tool - Fill selection with background color
  44. Selections - Modify - contract with 2
  45. Push delete on your keyboard
  46. Layers - New Raster layer
  47. Edit - Copy special- Copy merged
  48. Edit - Paste into selection
  49. Layer palette - blend mode Hard light
  50. Selections - Deselect all
  51. Open the tube accent
  52. Make layer BULLETS actif
  53. Edit - Copy - do not close yet
  54. On your working area - Edit - Paste as new layer
  55. Move tool - put on the right place
  56. Open the tube Black Pearls_LR-10-10-09
  57. Edit - Copy and close
  58. On your working area - Edit - Paste as new layer
  59. Image - Resize - 3 x 80% - Smart size - Resize all layers - not checked
  60. Move tool - to bottom left
  61. Effects - Plugins Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact Perspective Shadow
    Select Drop Shadow Blurry, click BASIC tab and change the shadow color use our background color
  62. Layer palette - Move this layer down - till you have this result
  63. Layer palette - Make top layer actif
  64. Open the tube 9074wtubes
  65. Edit - Copy - Close
  66. On your working area - Edit - Paste as new layer
  67. Move tool - to the top right
  68. Layer palette - Blend mode = Overlay
  69. Open tube Accent again and activate layer Squares
  70. Edit - Copy - Close
  71. On your working area - Edit - Paste as new layer
  72. Move tool - to bottom right
  73. Effects - User defined filter - Emboss 3 standard settings

  74. Layers - Duplicate
  75. Image - Mirror
  76. Image - flip
  77. Selections - Select all
  78. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels white
  79. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels background color
  80. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels white
  81. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels background color
  82. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels white
